Everley Grove residents write us a poem.

Upon completion of the footway scheme at Eversley Grove, Melvyn Trigg and his gang were presented with a poem written by the locals as a token of thanks for a job well done.

Warndon Carbon Reduction Initiative.

As part of our ongoing campaign to reduce the carbon footprint of Worcestershire Highways we have fitted a workshop heater powered by waste oil. The heater is proving to be very effective and has the added benefit that we no longer have to pay to dispose of waste oil.

Mark is pictured filling the heater with waste oil and he is wearing the new flame retardent workshop PPE which is on trial and proving to be very successful.

This is an extract from a letter received from Broadway Parish Council recognising the excellent work carried out in Broadway in the period leading up to Christmas.

The gang on site led by Ben Stafford, including Dan Miller, Andy Hodgkins and Tony Aigate supervised by Graham Haynes all deserve special praise and this is a great start to 2012.
